Hi, I am Tenzin Gonpo.
I am 13 years old and I was born in Manali. I have one brother and one sister. I joined
the monastery in 1996. My parents are very poor. They work in farming but sometimes the
monsoon destroys all the crops, so they sent me to monastery. I also wanted to become a
monk myself and I am very happy here. I try to be a very good student and be very active
in all school activities.
